Ways to Get Involved

Volunteer Work Days

Jobs may include painting, landscaping, install/deinstall, cleaning, etc. Please come in work clothes and closed toed shoes. No pre-registration required. All are welcome! Help us keep the park beautiful and safe for all visitors! Questions? Email info@franconia.org

Visitor Service Volunteers
These roles are great for those who love to connect with visitors and provide great customer service. Positions that fall under this category include: front desk volunteers, parking attendants, and membership volunteers. Folks in these roles will become experts in all things Franconia!

Site Maintenance Volunteers
Franconia Sculpture Park’s 50 acres require constant management. Maintenance Volunteers will aid staff and artists in completing ongoing projects and artworks! This includes garden and landscape maintenance, assisting with sculpture repairs, or light duties utilizing tools and hardware in a supervised and safe environment. This is an ideal opportunity to spend time outdoors and learn valuable new skills and experience!

Special Event Volunteers
Franconia hosts a variety of public events per year! Having volunteers helps these events run smoothly and efficiently. Each event may look slightly different, but there’s always an opportunity to help out! Volunteer tasks on event days could include: parking attendant, bartending, set up and tear down, or running the front desk.

Education Volunteers
This role is perfect for those who love to be hands-on, teaching or working with kids of all ages. Education Volunteers help with tours of the park, field trips, and workshops throughout the season. Classroom experience is helpful but not required!
