The Imprinted Wave series of sculptures are modeled on the foundational and elegant pattern of the wave: present in movement, light, sound and energy. Heavy and inert, formed of concrete, plastic, polyester and steel, the scale and materiality of Imprinted Wave #1 (Magenta+Green b/w Black Carpet) contrasts with this. 

On the other hand, the Sun moves relentlessly across the sky, imprinting on everything it touches. Slowly the fluorescent surface of the wave form will fade in a pattern of interference created by the blue doorway’s UV protection.
