Artist Statement
Stafford’s work combines technologies at different points in their functional life span to create fictional landscapes and life forms. His primary materials are obsolete circuit boards and wires from discarded consumer electronics and electronic waste with hacked electronics and micro-controlled circuitry to create interactive sculptures and installations.
