Artist Statement
I do not believe in the existence of the ‘unnatural’. We are animals, the same as any other animal. A termite has as much justification to label its actions ‘unnatural’ as a human being does. Likewise, I reject the distinction between highbrow and lowbrow in my work. My work is about what we as humans create: from flying saucers to oil refiners, from science fiction to science fact.
