Facility Rentals at Franconia Sculpture Park

Franconia Sculpture Park’s facilities provide a unique environment, perfect for private events such as: unforgettable weddings and receptions; birthday parties; corporate functions; meetings; retreats, as well as a perfect venue for formal parties and events.

Located just 45 minutes northeast of Minneapolis/ St. Paul in the beautiful St. Croix River Valley, Franconia Sculpture Park provides accommodating spaces that can be tailored to any event.

The 50-acre sculpture park has a rotating exhibition of over 100 contemporary sculptures that reflect the creative talents of local, national, and international artists, providing ample space for a unique and unforgettable environment for your gathering.

Franconia Sculpture Park, exceeded our expectations. Many people do not realize it has beautiful indoor spaces as well as outdoor spaces!

This space was perfect for our needs and we were able to have a stunning memorial for our loved one. The staff was helpful, available and compassionate.

Our wedding day at Franconia was magical and full of whimsy! The art surrounding us made a perfect backdrop for our ceremony and the cherished photos from the day. Our guests, especially the kiddos, loved exploring the grounds and sculptures. We all enjoyed the seamless transition from the indoors to the outdoor patio space, flowing between the two for dancing and games back to drinks and snacks. The staff was wonderful and easy to work with. Heather answered all of our questions in a timely fashion and made setting up a breeze!  We would highly recommend Franconia for a special event!

franconia was a wonderful wedding spot for us – the indoor space was huge and perfect for setting up food and games in, and was a great option for having most of the wedding inside (surprise snow!). i’m so glad we were also able to finish it out by one of the sculptures, it’s something i’ll never forget and that will be part of our wonderful wedding memories forever! 🙂 it was extremely affordable for a wedding venue, and it was great to have a place that let us bring in our own food instead of buying expensive catering, especially since we’re vegan and likely couldn’t have found a place that had catering that would work with that anyways. franconia made the best day of our lives so memorable and magical and i think it truly was the perfect place to marry the love of my life! 🙂

Franconia Sculpture Park resides on the ancestral Dakota lands of the Wahpekute in Mni Sota Makoce, along the St. Croix River which also holds significance by the Ojibwe and other Native peoples. We recognize, support and advocate for all Native nations and will actively center Native voices in our work.

 

Hours

The grounds of Franconia Sculpture Park are open 365 days a year from 8am-8pm.

The Franconia Commons building is open:

Apr. 15 – Nov. 14:
Everyday, 10am-5pm

Nov. 15 – Apr. 14: Friday-Sunday, 10am-4pm

Closed on National Holidays

There is no admission fee to Franconia Sculpture Park but visitors are encouraged to make a donation of any amount. Donations can be made through QR code displayed on our parking lot signage, in orange cash boxes throughout the park, or inside the Franconia Commons building.
