Franconia’s longstanding “Dinner & Discussion” lecture series invites the community to engage with visiting artists in a fun and informal setting. Artists give a one-hour presentation, followed by dinner and a community dialogue about the work. 2020 Visiting Artist Jason Peters will be discussing his current installation at Franconia Sculpture Park.

Jason Peters is a contemporary artist known for his ability to create transformative environments using found objects, light and space. Born in Mobile, Alabama in 1977, he was raised in Munich, Germany, and has lived and worked in Brooklyn, New York for nearly twenty years. Peters received his BFA in Sculpture from the Maryland Institute College of Art, and his large-scale installations have been exhibited in the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, the Center for Contemporary Arts Santa Fe, Grounds for Sculpture, Katonah Museum of Art, and Times Square.
