Artist Statement
Mindscape references many objects, but it’s the summation of these images that Andy intends to communicate. Elements of boats, bridges, shackles, locks, and clasps influence the overall presence of Mindscape, weaving together their distinct and shared contexts to create a layered sculpture that is both all of and none of its parts; wholly different in sum.
