Alyssa Auten
Community Liaison
Pronouns: She/Her
Alyssa has a background in architecture, history, design, and non-profit management. She received her BSAS in Architectural Studies from UW-Milwaukee and an MSc in Historic Building Conservation from the University of Bath in England. Alyssa has spent the last fifteen years working for cultural heritage institutions like North Woods and Waters of the St. Croix Heritage Area, the Folsom House Historic Site, and the Nicollet County Historical Society.
Born and raised in the St. Croix River Valley, Alyssa has spent years exploring (almost) every back road, hiking dozens of trails, and learning about the history and towns. Her love for this area is why she is thrilled to work as the Community Liaison for Franconia Sculpture Park, and also what prompted her to get her real estate license so she could help others experience how incredible it is to live, work and play here! When not at work, Alyssa can be found exploring, hiking, kayaking or cooking with her husband and daughter.
