Artist Statement
I am confused about my place in this world. I am part of nature being an animal, yet I feel apart from it..distanced. In my work, I try to help my fellow plants and animals so I can be a better member of my ecosystem. The problem is I am unsure of the best way to help as my actions are filtered through personal ideas of betterment. I desire to create objects that are as stunning as those found in nature, though I often fail in my earnestness.
