Artist Statement:

I am an artist specializing in urban inspired creations in media such as; spray paint, acrylic, screen print, and sculpture. My artwork is a mosaic reflecting the sources of my inspiration and exposing the richness of who I am. It is a fusion of street art, African, Native American, Asian, European, and other cultural influences. Currently I am using my experience as an artist and youth mentor in the capacity of Co-founder and Artistic Director of Juxtaposition Arts, a nonprofit youth arts center in North Minneapolis which focuses in the areas of fine art instruction, hands-on creation, artistic interpretation and critique, portfolio development, art history and art exhibition for serious young artists from inner-city Minneapolis neighborhoods.
